Stretch of the Month
Hamstring Stretch with Towel! How to – Sit on the floor with legs extended in front of you. Wrap a towel around your feet covering your toes and holding on to each end of the towel. Bend your body forward towards your feet while pulling the ends of the towel. You should feel the stretch through your hamstrings.
Exercise of the Month
Assisted Handstands! How to – Using the wall, place your hands in front of the wall shoulder width apart. Kick your feet up in to a handstand position with heels resting on the wall.
We take in on average approximately 300 more calories a day than we did a few decades ago, the majority of which comes from sugar. Drinks are the main source of the extra sugar but other foods contain sugar as well. Make sure you check nutritional labels on your food-cane juice, corn syrup, and words ending in “ose” (glucose, fructose, sucrose) all mean sugar!
